Description
Split-O is the 3rd robot helper Invention you can obtain from The Inventor. He is unlocked when you reach the milestone of spending a total of 20,000 
Time Shards on other Inventions in the current prestige run. Split-O is able to take a generic Minion and undo the last merge in it's change, creating 2 Minions with 1 less level than the split unit. After each use, Split-O needs to cooldown for 4 hours before he can be used again. There are also two upgrades for Split-O that can be purchased from The Hacker: -1 hour recharge time and +25% chance to triple split; these can be purchased for 50 
Energy Cubes and 250 
Gems respectively.
Advanced Mechanics
Generally the recommended uses for Split-O would be the following:
- Undoing an Archdemon level skip, commonly for cravings or rolling back an Undead Alien so you can get different runes after combat.
- Attempting Spirit duplication: Commonly done with lvl 2 Peaceful Spirits or Vengeful Spirits. The technique to this is to first use Split-O on the spirit and try and trigger a triple split. Next, you will attempt to remerge them and hope you get an Archdemon level skip to bump the spirit up to lvl 3, saving you soul charges while trying to increase your craving food bonus or damage bonus from spirits.
- Unmerging and remerging Minions that provide a lot of progress toward champion spawns to have them spawn quicker.
